Excursions

There are lots of excursions in and around Baden-Baden.

During the colder months, a dip in the historic thermal baths at the centre of Baden-Baden's traditional spa culture will prove irresistible.

Do you know Baden-Baden already? Then take off and discover the town "from above". Whether by helicopter or even in a balloon…you can plan some entertaining excursions the children will also enjoy. Both young and old can have fun in the nearby Europa Park.

Experience at first hand the Hockenheimring motor racing track - drive round the Formula 1 course in your own car or take part in so-called "experience training". At certain times, the track is even open for inline skaters. If you're a motor racing fan, the Motor Sport Museum is bound to be of interest to you.  Our concierge will be happy to organise the trip for you.

One of the many castles, gardens, palaces and abbeys in the greater Baden region is well worth a visit  - Schloss Favorite in Rastatt, for example.

Anyone interested in the history of Baden-Baden shouldn't miss a visit to the new City Museum. The Museum of Bathing Cultures of the Ancient World, with its ruins of a Roman bathhouse, explains one of the most important features of Baden-Baden.

Thanks to Baden-Badens's central location, some of the most beautiful cities in Europe are easily accessible for our guests in a very short time.: the French city of Strasbourg, for example, the lovely old student town of Freiburg or Heidelberg with its picturesque old quarter.
