Charity Concert in the Brenner Park on behalf of the Circle of Friends of the Lichtentaler Allee Inc.

On Friday July 16, 2010 Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa staged its 12th Benefit Concert in the Brenner Park.
At 8.30 pm the Baden-Baden Philharmonic conducted by its new first Kapellmeister Lorenzo Coladonato presented works by Mozart, Luigini, Rossini, Strauß, Khachaturian and Bernstein set against the summer evening atmosphere in the delightful Brenner Park facility.
Frederick di Georgiou, Brenners Musical Director appeared as soloist at the piano. Critics testified to "his lightness of touch in expressing Mozart's work in an exceptional manner".
Arndt Joosten, the Baden-Baden Philharmonic's orchestra manager compered the evening in his usual entertaining manner. Melodies by Bernstein received protracted applause on the part of the enthusiastic audience.
The proceeds of € 4,000 from the Brenners Park Concert will this year go to the Circle of Friends of the Lichtentaler Allee Inc. (Freundeskreis Lichtentaler Allee e.V.), which is involved in protecting the Lichtentaler Allee on an honorary basis.
