Help for Japan: Brenner Employees Support GALA’s Charity Initiative
04-12-2011
Employees of Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa show their solidarity with the victims of the Japanese disaster by wearing red wristbands until Easter.
The charity wristbands sold by the magazine GALA not only symbolise solidarity and sympathy, each of them also represents a donation that GALA will pay in full to the Japanese Red Cross. Frank Marrenbach, Managing Director of Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa, says: “We hope to encourage our guests to take part in this fundraising campaign as well.”
After the catastrophe struck, the organisers of the GALA SPA-Awards, Peter Lewandowski, editor in chief of GALA, and Brenners’ director Frank Marrenbach, had first considered cancelling the festive event in March. But then they decided to show their solidarity in a different way: The ceremony took place, and a collection was held among its guests and GALA was able to send no less than 32,000 euro.
By wearing the solidarity wristbands Brenner’s staff carry the initiative forward into their daily lives.
