Excellence rewarded: The Michelin Guide has awarded a second star to the Brenners Park-Restaurant

12-11-2010

November 2010: Celebrations are called for at Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa. Its Brenners Park-Restaurant has been awarded a second star in the latest edition of the Michelin Guide to the best restaurants.

Executive Chef Andreas Krolik’s team in worked very hard and with full commitment to continuously improve its performance following receipt of the first star in 2005. “This award”, Krolik predicted at the time, “will increase the demands. We must carry on developing further.” He is absolutely delighted about this success.

The Michelin inspectors certify Andreas Krolik “A very good classic designed cuisine with a very high product quality, finely crafted and almost cooked to perfection”.

‘Michelin’ has only awarded a second star to five restaurants in Germany this year. In addition to Executive Chef Andreas Krolik and his team of chefs, Restaurant Manager Josef Breitenfellner and Head Sommelier Karl-Heinz Schopf and their teams are also responsible for this success.

Frank Marrenbach, the Managing Director, commented on the second star as follows: “Maintaining a high standard is not enough – not in our grand hotel, not in our gourmet restaurant. I am immensely grateful to Andreas Krolik and the entire team of the Brenners Park-Restaurant for their excellent competence and great dedication.” This team is not at all interested in sitting on their laurels. Most definitely not.
