Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa chosen by "Feinschmecker" as "Hotel of the Year 2008"

"Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Baden-Baden is our Hotel of the Year 2008" This slogan is carried by the July issue of the Gourmet Magazine "Der Feinschmecker".

The jurors emphasized the 130-year old history, the location and the furnishings as well as the "myriads" of prominent guests. They were equally impressed by the various Spas as well as the House's own care series "Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa - Spirit of Jaipur", the Spa Suite, its own Daily newspaper and the child-minding service.

The energy and imagination of the team headed by Frank Marrenbach in addition to the financial commitment of the owner-family Oetker were assessed by "Der Feinschmecker" as "even more remarkable".

In culinary terms the House is on the right path, for the Head Chef of the Brenners Park-Restaurant, Andreas Krolik, who has been awarded a Michelin Star, is attested to possess the ability "to create Gourmet Menus full of fantasy": generally the service unites "precision with unhampered cordiality".

The Managing Director Frank Marrenbach regards this award as confirming his efforts to accomplish the philosophy "A Grand Hotel becomes younger" on a daily basis: "we are continually setting impulses in order to create the bridge between tradition and innovation. Towards this end, we rely on our fundamental asset, which is hospitality at internationally comparable top level."

The expansion of Brenners Medical Spa, the fostering of the Gourmet Restaurant and - quite recently - the opening of the renovated Brenners Parkvilla as a residence of absolute international luxury class are numbered among the latest impulses. It is not surprising then that "Der Feinschmecker" is confident "that this tradition-steeped House will be able to master the challenges posed by the 21st century."
