It’s spring and it’s Easter Festival time! How about coming to Baden-Baden and enjoying this special occasion in the town’s annual calendar. If you were unable to attend any of the performances last year, make sure you don’t miss the chance of doing so this time!
Once again, the Berliner Philharmonic Orchestra will form the backbone of a diverse programme of musical entertainment catering for both young and old. From the 12th to 21st April, around 30 events and performances will be taking place in the Festspielhaus, Baden-Baden’s highly acclaimed concert hall, which will include masterpieces by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra and musical theatre productions. The highlight of the Easter Festival will be the performance of Puccini’s opera “Manon Lescaut” being conducted by the orchestra’s principal conductor Sir Simon Rattle for the first time. I would also recommend the performance of Bach’s Johannespassion which follows on from the success of the Matthäuspassion – a milestone in the career of Sir Simon Rattle.
For your special visit during the Easter period, I will have the appropriate tickets ready and waiting for you!
